Biography

Windwalker Dorn

Multi-talented (singer, songwriter, Native Traditionalist), Windwalker (MicMac, Lenape, Cherokee nations) has accomplished a Grammy nomination (2016) for the album “Generation”, numerous types of awards both U.S. and international (including Legacy and Hall of Fame). Windwalker has released seven multi-cultural albums over a period of twenty-six years as Wind Spirit Drum, Windwalker and the MCW (Multi-Cultural Women), and Windwalker.  Provided voice, drum, flute (Woodland and Silver), and sax on other musical artist’s album.  Provided music score and acted in three independent films and several music videos.  As an active Grammy voting member participated in numerous Music related issues (Music Care, Advocacy for Music Rights, and Mentorship to uprising musicians).

Since childhood my goal in life has been to pursue my dreams and traditions through the promise I made to my grandmother.  Taught by my father the Native American cedar and hoop (hand) drum, my grandmother and mother keeping our traditional songs alive, and other Native Americans have gifted me their songs and traditions to pass on to future generations.

Coming from a talented, strong values, and matriarch family, Windwalker has dedicated her life to share and educate people on ways of life in the pursuit of growth and individuality.

Windwalker is also third generation medicine woman, chief and educator of her nation’s traditions.  As a life-long peaceful activist, active as a water protector, human trafficking, animal abuse, wild horse roundups, drug and alcohol, suicide prevention, help the earth walkers (homeless) throughout the country to the Pueblos and reservations (providing food, survival backpacks, school supplies to fit the situation at hand).  Windwalker is also active as a personal rescuer of horses and cats on her farm.  I am available for performances, touring, educating (private and public), workshops, healing of inner waters of the body, land and house blessings and motivational speaking.

GOAL

Motto:  ONE HEART, ONE BEAT

Awani,

I am committed to being part of a generation that bridges the gap between children and elders, helping  to preserve their traditions while fostering their physical, mental and spiritual well-being.  We are all interconnected and must unite through education, cultural understanding, shared histories, honoring Mother Earth, Father Sky, our ancestors and the Creator.

I made a promise to my grandmother to dedicate my life to healing of waters through sacred  ceremonies around the world.  This has become one of my highest,  priorities and I will continue this work ensuring that the wisdom of our ancestors endures.

Let us live each day to the fullest, embracing the wisdom of others and the guidance of our ancestors.

Aquanine (See you soon may your path be blessed with peace).
